goodies
i was sure in for a treat this weekend. my roommate really wanted to check out the Big E. its like the SD county fair except it is called an exposition and it is for all the new england states. the expo was in massachusettes so i was all excited to go to a different state. it still trips me out on how small the states are and how close together they are. Anywho, the cool thing about this fair is that each new england state has like an exhibit where they serve the food for what they are known for and also other interesting things about their state. so it was kinda like seeing and getting the best of each state all in one place. i was so hungry and i couldnt decide what i wanted to eat. there was just so much fresh seafood that i wanted to try it all. maine lobster roll was a little too expensive so what i ended up getting was a RI stuffed baked quahog (a huge clam). i honestly could of cared less about RI but that state just had the best food there. we just spent most of out time eating, seeing horses (for some reason i thought that was really exciting, i just never seen horses like that before), ferris wheel, all the typical fair stuff and at the end of the night there was a free Ciara concert! and I just can't believe i was able to see her perform. she really dances well and she sang all her good songs. but once i heard 1,2 step i just lost it. haha.
today we had to get up early for the JDRF walk because the hosp was sponsoring it. It was nice because it reminded me so much of a PAHC thing. it would have been better if it didnt rain but oh well, it was still fun to just hang out with the other interns.
edit: what helped me get up for the walk was a drunk wake up call from jenny! haha, i guess i wasnt fully awake yet and thought that i was just dreaming about talking to jenny and jelz but according to jenny's comment it really did happen! talk about a dream come true. (you happy now biatch?!) haha.
the weather is just so erratic here. it was so pretty and sunny on saturday but then it was all stormy and gross today. same thing happened while i was walking back from church, although this time i had an umbrella! haha. which reminds me, im glad you (or more like you who commented on the past entry) enjoyed reading it. reading those comments made me smile. Thank You!
